The South African construction sector faces a number of significant challenges in its quest to enhance the industry's role as a catalyst for economic growth. This fact sheet describes a multi-year CSIR research project to identify and solve the science-based problems impeding the take-up of new technologies in the construction sector, and to demonstrate the effectiveness of these technologies in enhancing construction performance.
