New strategies to support post-conflict reconstruction in Africa

Does it make sense for South Africa to help other states with development, and in the process devolve billions in aid money, which could be used to tackle the country's own service delivery problems? This question, and a range of other issues relating to post-conflict reconstruction, are addressed by CSIR Built Environment researcher Richard Gueli in an opinion piece published in the Business Day on 3 September 2007.
