Structural Engineering

The Structural Engineering research group provides innovative engineering solutions to enhance the safety and design reliability and expand the application limits of structural materials, elements and systems, in support of sustainable construction. Competencies include:

  • Modelling and codification of dynamic loading (e.g. wind)
  • Structural assessment of innovative systems and elements
  • Application limits of structural materials, elements and systems
  • Investigation of structural failures
