The CSIR applies a multi-disciplinary approach to conduct innovative research and development in the areas of logistics and supply-chain management, and complex decision-aiding, using mathematical and statistical modelling. Specific research groups include Statistical Modelling and Analysis, Mathematical Modelling and Simulation, and Macro, Sector and Small Business Logistics.
