CSIR researchers converge at GEO summit
Ministers and officials from over 100 governments and international organisations assembled in Cape Town on 28-30 November 2007 to advance an internationally-agreed plan for building a Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). The Group on Earth Observations is coordinating efforts to build this GEOSS. |

The latest edition of the CSIR's external quarterly publication, ScienceScope, is themed 'Science for society', focusing on the direct impact that S&T can have on improving the quality of life of people. |
