Applied scientist to lead CSIR's modelling and digital science capacity
Consummate mathematician, Dr Motodi Maserumule, has been appointed Executive Director of the newly-established CSIR Modelling and Digital Science operating unit. He had been acting in this capacity since the unit's inception in April 2008 before which he was part of the team that put the unit together.
Designing intelligent machines - Harvard seeks CSIR researcher's expertise
CSIR scientist, Dr Fulufhelo Vincent Nelwamondo, was invited by the prestigious Harvard University to teach a course on the design of intelligent machines. Nelwamondo is well known for his expertise in software engineering and computational intelligence and is the youngest South African to receive the Harvard-South Africa fellowship.
