Rental pool programme

The CSIR National Laser Centre Rental Pool Programme (RPP) offers South African tertiary education institutions (TEIs) access to an array of state-of-the-art lasers, laser diagnostic equipment and laser laboratories. Through this programme, world-class scientific human capital is developed, in line with the national mandate of developing skilled human resources in science, engineering and technology (SET). The sharing of costly high-tech laser equipment situated centrally implies significant cost savings while strengthening the laser scientific community.
