The Light Metals Development Network (LMDN) was established as part of the Advanced Metals Initiative by the Department of Science and Technology and is coordinated by the CSIR.
The objective of the network is to provide active support for the growth and sustainability of an international downstream South African light metals industry through leading edge research and development. Initial focus areas are aluminium and titanium.
