Felicity (Flic) Blakeway
Felicity (Flic) Blakeway is a biologist with 20 years experience in the forestry industry, and is the manager of the Forestry research area. Her research interests include forestry and forest products for social and economic development in Africa, forestry education and development in research competence, and applied tree improvement for optimal site matching and product quality.
Dr Steve Verryn
Dr Steve Verryn is a geneticist specialising in forest tree quantitative genetics, and has an interest in biosafety and environmental genetics. He is the leader of the Tree Improvement research group.
Dr Valerie Grzeskowiak
Dr Valerie Grzeskowiak is a wood scientist, research group leader at the forestry and forest product research centrein Durban.
