Airborne and landward special operations

The CSIR undertakes research and development as well as performs testing and evaluation, manufacturing, qualification, commissioning as well as the life-cycle maintenance and support of unique airborne and landwards special operations technology systems and operational capabilities. The aim is to address specific needs of operators in the field and to see to their efficiency and safety. Core capabilities include various design and engineering expertise, including mechanical, electronic and systems engineering. Projects are often quick reaction tasks and are performed from secure facilities to satisfy requirements for tasks that are graded as sensitive.
