Dr Kabamba Alexandre
Alexandre’s research interests lie in the field of medical virology.
Alexandre holds a PhD in virology from the University of Witwatersrand. He joined the CSIR in 2014 and is a post-doctoral researcher in the CSIR’s high throughput screening and bioassays research group. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals as well as a book chapter. In 2012, Alexandre was awarded the James Gear Fellowship award in Virology, a prestigious South African Award to an outstanding PhD to develop their research careers in overseas academic institutions.
