Afriverse, the CSIR Metaverse, consists of virtual and mixed reality spaces where users can interact with each other in real-life situations such as socials, meetings, training, entertainment, gaming or any service-related business activity. Part of the product offering include a set of tools that enable web3 commerce & trade. These tools facilitate permission layers using self-sovereign identity and non-fungible tokens, as well as real-time, per-second payments.
