Dr Sarah Davies

CSIR Researcher

Dr Davies’ research interests lie in biodiversity science, understanding ecological processes and management of impacts in social-ecological systems, such as invasive alien organisms.

Full Profile

She is a conservation biologist with an interest in the impacts and management of biological invasions in African ecosystems and the role of ecosystem services in supporting social-ecological systems. Sarah has worked in the consulting, research, and applied research sectors. This has involved interacting with a wide range of stakeholders to implement projects and programmes that enhance our understanding and ability to manage impacts on these complex ecosystems, including proficiency in practical skills involving project management. Sarah has a committed interest in network development and science communication.
