Energy Autonomous Campus: Mitigating the effects of climate change

You are invited to a talk about all the work that the CSIR Energy Autonomous Campus project is currently doing to reduce electricity consumption and increase the use of cleaner renewable power on campus.

The talk will be delivered by Nithin Isaac from the CSIR Energy Research Centre, which falls under CSIR Smart Places. Prior to joining the CSIR, Nithin worked at Worley Parsons as a senior business consultant. He has extensive experience, gained while working on different energy projects within South Africa, as well as in Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Morocco, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. He will be giving details of how the Energy Autonomous Campus works as an avenue for electricity savings, carbon emissions reductions, as well as a live interactive demonstration platform for the CSIR – a model of the future smart grid and energy system.
