Lana Kemp
CSIR senior researcher
Kemp is a senior civil engineer with a research focus on fourth industrial revolution technologies, including road wear and heavy vehicle impact and asset management.

Kemp joined the CSIR in 2017 and worked as a co-developer of tools quantifying the cost of road wear. In 2018, she was promoted twice on the CSIR career ladder. She received a South African Institution of Civil Engineering award for Best Paper by a Young Professional at the 2021 Southern African Transport Conference
