Panday is a technical lead on a dynamic sea-ice modelling project and also involved in a project on high-pressure composite cylinders that involves evaluating models and modelling techniques for complex systems integration and process engineering support.
Fleckson’s research interests include mining performance improvement, occupational health and safety (OHS), OHS culture transformation/management, OHS risk management, change management (including technology adoption), impact assessments, studies to facilitate progressive modernisation of the mining sector, technology road mapping, skills road mapping, techno-economic assessments, socio-economic assessments and sustainability related studies in the mining sector.
Gculisile Mvelase’s research interests lie in drone technology and aerial light detection and ranging (LiDAR)-based model to manage and assess rockfall hazards and slope stability of roads and railways.
Mans has a background in geographical information sciences with a specific application in the context of urban and regional planning.
