At GovTech 2025, South Africa's flagship government technology conference held from 8 to 10 September at the Durban International Convention Centre, AdNotes distinguished itself as a leader in digital innovation by winning the prestigious small, medium and micro enterprise (SMME) Award. AdNotes expressed enthusiasm about the award, highlighting the impact of its Spectrum Switch-powered television white spaces and fourth generation networks in transforming government services to improve service delivery and expand digital inclusion, especially in rural and township areas across South Africa. Nqiyaqonda! literacy app helps South African children read in Sepedi, isiZulu, English and Afrikaans
Ngiyaqonda! is a purpose-built multilingual system designed to generate learning content with high grammatical accuracy and strong pedagogical suitability in isiZulu, Sepedi, English and Afrikaans. It provides an interactive digital environment for developing home language literacy. Ngiyaqonda! 1.0 was successfully piloted in 2024 and the positive results have paved the way for the development of Ngiyaqonda! 2.0.Watch.
CSIR and AdNotes Digital partner on spectrum management technology
The CSIR has appointed AdNotes Digital as a white-label commercial partner for its spectrum management technology. As the new Spectrum Switch licensee, AdNotes Digital will provide services based on the CSIR-developed Secondary Geo-location Spectrum Database to all network operators.
