Research Data and Publications

CSIR Open access research publications and data are published in one of two open access institutional repositories.

DataSpace: The Open Access Institutional Data Repository Of The CSIR

DataSpace is an institutional data repository designed for the registration, long-term archival storage, sharing, and dissemination of research data generated or collected under the auspices of the CSIR.

The primary purpose of DataSpace is to provide a platform that makes CSIR’s open-access research data findable and accessible, while also supporting the interoperability and reusability of the institute’s research outputs.

DataSpace offers a public interface that allows users to search for and access content, as well as private user accounts for CSIR researchers. These private accounts enable researchers to upload, share, and publish their research data, and they also support collaboration between CSIR researchers and their counterparts at other institutions.

DataSpace is powered by Figshare, a web-based platform built for research data management and dissemination.
