The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is hosting its 3rd CSIR Golf Club Charity Golf Day, taking place on Friday, 9 October 2026 at Woodhill Country Club, Pretoria, under the theme: “Shaping Tomorrow: Advancing Mathematics and Science Learning.” 

The CSIR Golf Club Charity Golf Day is a purpose-driven initiative aimed at strengthening mathematics and science education in underprivileged rural communities. Through the provision of learning resources, targeted educator support, and sustained engagement, the initiative seeks to foster an enabling environment for improved learning outcomes. 

The golf day supports a meaningful cause: proceeds will be allocated to our science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) outreach programme, aimed at empowering and inspiring the next generation of innovators in underprivileged communities.
